Who makes Singbud
Singbud is an independent project, made by one person: Roy Rosenberg, based in Thailand.
What we believe
- Most people can learn. Matching a note is a skill that responds to practice. Our guides link the research behind that, so you don’t have to take our word for it.
- Notes, not labels. Singbud never calls you a baritone or a soprano. It shows your comfortable notes and moves songs to fit them.
- Start with a song you love. People keep practising when the goal is a song they care about.
- Be kind. Bud tells you the one thing to try next, and never gives you a grade for who you are.
Your voice stays with you
Singbud listens on your own device. Your voice isn’t uploaded, and there are no ads, analytics or tracking. The privacy policy has the details.
One price
You can start free, with no account or card. The full app is $39 once, with nothing that renews, and covers up to five singers on one device.
How we check what we publish
Each guide answers one question, lists its sources, and shows when it was last reviewed. On our comparison pages we make one of the products being compared, and we say so. Competitors’ prices are dated, because they change.
Our guides are general education. They don’t replace a doctor or a voice specialist. If singing hurts or hoarseness won’t go away, please see one.
